DIY – iFlag for iRacing
Parts list*:
Guide
For the commissioning of the iFlag you need various drivers and the software of the iFlag itself:
- .NET Framework 4 – Microsoft.
- Arduino IDE (driver) – Arduino.
- iFlag Software: https://github.com/simracer-cz/iFlag
Afterwards, only the parts of the hardware have to be plugged into each other (instructions) and the software must be started (link). More information about the software can be found on the official forum of iRacing: https://members.iracing.com/jforum/posts/list/3341549.page. There it is also possible to make a voluntary donation for the great user project to the user Peter V.:. There are also suggestions for housings matching the iFlag.
Use with SimHub
For some time now it has also been possible to use the iFlag with the help of the Software Simhub for other simulations such as Assetto Corsa, Project Cars, rFactor 2 or Raceroom. To do this, the iFlag must be re-described with the appropriate SimHub sketch (DM163 matrix) and loses its functionality with the iFlag software.
