Fanatec Podium Pedals Formula Available Now

Sim racing manufacturer Fanatec will officially launch the new Podium Pedals Formula today, June 25, at 7:00 p.m. (CEST). To mark the launch, buyers can take advantage of a limited-time offer, while fans of the classic three-pedal version will have to wait a little longer.

The first batch of the new high-end pedals will be available exclusively as a limited-edition bundle. In addition to the Formula configuration (with pedal plates and heel cups made of real carbon), each set also includes GT aluminum pedal plates at no extra charge.

• The advantage: Drivers can flexibly switch between Formula and GT ergonomics, saving just under €74.95.
• Note: Once this first batch is sold out, the set will be sold as a standalone product at the same price, but without the additional GT plates.

Three-pedal version and clutch moved to Q3

Originally, the three-pedal version was supposed to be released first. However, due to a quality issue with the clutch pedal discovered during final validation, Fanatec has postponed the release of both the complete 3-pedal set and the standalone clutch module until the third quarter (Q3).

Buying tip for clutch enthusiasts: Upgrading the Formula pedals later with a separate clutch module and the matching GT plate will cost a total of €234.90. So if you absolutely need a clutch, you’ll save money by waiting for the complete three-pedal set in the third quarter. That set is also expected to hit the market for €699.95.
