Thrustmaster Ferrari 499P Wheel Revealed – Pokornyi Engineering Wheels Discontinued

Thrustmaster has officially unveiled its upcoming new steering wheel. It will be released under the name Ferrari 499P Centenary Winner Edition and, fittingly, will be limited to 499 units. At the same time, the previously available version of the 499P steering wheel from Pokornyi Engineering has been discontinued.

With the Ferrari 499P Centenary Winner Edition, Thrustmaster is bringing its highest-quality steering wheel to date to the sim racing market. Officially licensed by Ferrari and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, this Thrustmaster steering wheel is a 1:1 replica of the Ferrari 499P. Limited to 499 numbered units, this edition features a carbon fiber back panel with six paddle shifters and various aluminum knobs. It also includes a backlit front panel and a 4.3-inch display capable of showing up to 140 parameters, as well as RPM and flag LEDs. In addition to the steering wheel, the package includes a display stand, two posters, and the PC game Le Mans Ultimate, including its associated add-ons.

An exact price has not yet been announced, but it is expected to be revealed shortly.

Pokornyi Engineering F499 and FGT steering wheels are no longer available

A few weeks ago, some members of the sim racing community noticed that Pokornyi Engineering’s product lineup had shrunk. The company is best known for its unlicensed replicas of official steering wheels, which were initially offered for sale as DIY kits. However, the two previously available replicas of the Ferrari steering wheels (F499 and FGT) have now been removed from the shop’s product range. This applies to the steering wheels as standalone products, as well as the DIY construction guides and the individual parts of the wheels. However, no official statement has been issued regarding the reasons for the reduction in the product range.

Unfortunately the F499 and FGT Wheels have been discontinued. We no longer sell parts nor files related to either of these wheels. Thank you very much for your understanding.
