Simagic Zeus Series Officially Launched – Prices and Details

Simagic officially unveiled its new Zeus series today. The steering wheels are now listed on the company’s website with prices and are available for pre-order. The standout feature is the removeable dashboard, which can be attached wirelessly to both the base and the various wheels.

Simagic Zeus Formula Steering Wheel

The star of the new series is clearly Simagic’s new Formula Wheel. It has a diameter of 280 millimeters and offers a wide range of input options. It is made from a combination of carbon fiber (front panel) and aluminum.

Simagic Zeus GT Steering Wheel

In addition to the Formula Wheel, there is also the GT Steering Wheel, which allows you to use different rims depending on your preference.

Simagic Zeus Sport Steering Wheel

The steering wheel lineup is rounded out by the Simagic Zeus Sport Steering Wheel, which, in its standard version, features a round rim with a diameter of 320 millimeters.

MagicDash 4 Display + AirLink Wireless Hotspot + MagDock + Maglink Pro Xtend

The standout feature of the new Wheels, as mentioned earlier, is their interchangeable center section. The included plastic cover with LEDs can be swapped out for the separately available display unit. This unit features a 3.97-inch touchscreen that is held in place magnetically. It can be removed in a single step and swapped back and forth between the base and the wheel. Ultimately, the only question is how useful this feature really is in everyday use. In any case, the full potential for savings is only realized if you own at least two compatible steering wheels or a compatible wheel base (or one equipped with the third-party adapter).

Owners of a base from the Alpha EVO series can use the new products right away; everyone else must use the separately available adapter solutions.

The new Zeus products are now available for pre-order directly from Simagic. However, the website does not currently list a guaranteed shipping date. Depending on the country of shipment, you should also expect additional costs such as taxes and, if applicable, customs duties. Typically, Simagic’s products will become available shortly after release through well-known third-party retailers, of which there are now several in almost every country.
