Pimax and iRacing Announce Partnership – Suzuka 1000km Special Event and Special Offer
For many sim racers, virtual reality has become a must-have, and iRacing is considered the gold standard for smooth VR experiences thanks to its excellent optimization and native features like foveated rendering. To take this immersion to the next level, Pimax and iRacing have launched an exclusive partnership aimed at making high-end hardware more accessible to the community. As part of this collaboration, sim racers will benefit from special hardware offers that were put together just in time for the announcement of the sponsorship partnership at the historic 1000-km event in Suzuka.

VR and iRacing
Currently, iRacing is one of the simulations that works best in VR without driving hardware requirements through the roof. Thanks to native VR support since 2013 and solid engine optimization, years of accumulated experience are now paying off, and the VR experience is both smooth and high-performance. A whole range of different features are now supported:
- 3D Sound: The audio adjusts to head movements, ensuring that the position of the vehicles remains perceptible in three-dimensional space.
- Eye Tracking: The highest graphics quality is rendered where the player is looking.
- Custom Graphics: You can use custom graphics settings when playing the game in VR.
- Foveated Rendering: iRacing supports foveated rendering on all VR headsets. On headsets with eye tracking, dynamic foveated rendering can be enabled, ensuring the highest quality is provided within your field of view.

The podium was rounded out by Apex Racing Team #99. For 2026, another tight race for the top spots is expected between these esports giants and top international teams.
