Team Redline Joins Verstappen Family as Verstappen Sim Racing
Team Redline has been one of the best-known and most successful teams in virtual racing for years. During this time, the team has racked up many achievements and has frequently made headlines (Nürburgring 24h iRacing Special Event Overshadowed by Exploit – Team Redline Withdraws Cars). Now a new chapter is about to begin: Team Redline is becoming Verstappen Sim Racing.

Rebranding And Vision
Verstappen Racing announces that its sim racing team, Team Redline, will now compete under the name Verstappen Sim Racing. Max Verstappen has been one of the world’s top sim racers for years and is one of the few full-time professionals who regularly competes in major special events such as the 24 Hours of iRacing. The rebranding is intended to drive full integration into Verstappen Racing’s unified racing ecosystem, from GT3 to the virtual world.
Achievements and Future
Founded in 2000 by Dom Duhan, Team Redline is considered the most successful sim racing team in the world, with numerous titles to its name (including the 2024 and 2025 Esports World Cup, PESC, and IMSA GTP). Under its new name, the team will maintain its full competition schedule while continuing to serve as a key talent incubator. A concrete example is Chris Lulham, who made the leap to real-world GT3 racing via Team Redline and won the 2025 24 Hours of Spa (class) as well as two Gold Cup titles. Max Verstappen, Atze Kerkhof, and Dom Duhan view the rebranding as the logical next step in developing sim racing talent into real-world motorsport.
Sim Racing is a big passion of mine outside Formula 1, and Team Redline has been a big part of that. It is where I spend a lot of my time off track, and part of what I am building with Verstappen Racing. This step to Verstappen Sim Racing feels very natural. We’re taking everything we’ve achieved and bringing it closer in line with the wider Verstappen Racing platform. I’ve always believed that sim racing can develop real talent, and we’re already seeing that with Chris Lulham. I’m really excited to keep building on the success of the team and see what the future holds.
