Fanatec unveils new Podium Pedals and Podium DD at Simracing Expo 2025
Fanatec is showcasing the new products from the Podium series, which are scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2026, for the first time at this year’s Simracing Expo 2025 in Dortmund. In addition to the Podium DD with a maximum holding torque of 25 Nm, the new pedals are likely to be the product that fans of the brand have been waiting for, in some cases for years. We were able to get a first impression of the new hardware and are showing you the first pictures here.

Fanatec Podium DD
The newly introduced Podium DD will be the new centerpiece of the Fanatec ecosystem. It will cover the high-end segment in the future and replace the previous top model, the Podium DD2. The maximum possible torque is 25 Newton meters holding torque with a maximum peak value of 33 Newton meters. In addition to a further optimized motor and more efficient cooling of the components, Fanatec also promises a higher dynamic range. The first test rounds at the Simracing Expo were promising in this regard, but of course, first impressions are not enough to form a final opinion of the improvements. The base seems a little more direct and, above all, the details are very nuanced.
Also back in the mix is the now familiar FullForce technology, which provides particularly fine vibrations with extremely low latency. However, it remains to be seen to what extent this feature, already familiar from the CS DD, will finally be usable in the various simulations.
The scope of delivery now includes an optional 10 cm extension for the wheel base. A move that can certainly be seen as a small jab in view of the prices for the Simucube extensions accessories.

Fanatec Podium Pedals
One thing that a lot of fans of the brand have been waiting for forever are high-end pedals. With the new Podium Pedals, that’s finally about to change. The pedals come in two different designs and with different accessories, some of which are optional. Fanatec is moving away from the previous design of the V3 pedals and, thanks to the new modularity, offers significantly more adjustment options and flexibility during assembly. The workmanship is significantly higher quality than previous Fanatec pedals. The load cell (> 200 kg) now installed, in combination with the fairly high pivot point of the brake pedal, enables a maximum braking force of 150 kg on the faceplate of the pedal. Fanatec is also introducing a new feature: the Compression Control System. This is designed to ensure that the elastomers used are not overloaded and to produce a consistent braking feel at all times.
During the first test rounds, however, it was the tool-free and extremely quick adjustability of the pedals that stood out in particular. With just a few simple steps, you can adjust both the resistance and the maximum travel on all pedals.

Availability, warranty and prices
According to Fanatec, the launch of the new Podium series products is planned for Q1 2026. Both the Podium pedals and the Podium DD will come with a three-year warranty, which exceeds the statutory minimum period.
However, interested users will have to wait a little longer for pricing information. Fanatec has not yet provided any details, but it can be assumed that the pedals in particular will be priced significantly above the previous range.
