Gamescom 2025: MOZA Racing announces new Wheel Bases and Partnerships
This year, Chinese manufacturer MOZA Racing will once again be represented with a large stand at Gamescom in Cologne, which takes place this weekend. At the world’s largest trade fair for computer and video games and consumer electronics, sim racing fans can look forward to the presentation of new flagship wheel bases and a new steering wheel, among other things.

R21 Ultra & R25 Ultra True Torque DD Bases
The two new wheel bases are likely to be the star of this year’s trade fair line-up. With 21 and 25 Newton metres of torque respectively, they are clearly aimed at the high-end market. According to MOZA Racing, they have been significantly improved in some areas. At first glance, the RGB lighting now integrated into the housing is particularly striking. Below you will find the details of the new bases:
- Next-generation flat-wire motor with true zero cogging, delivering ultra-smooth, 21–25Nm peak torque with exceptional torque density.
- The R25 Ultra Base features a true torque sensor for sharper handling, tighter control, and unmatched detail.
- 21-bit magnetic encoder with over 2 million points of resolution for unmatched steering accuracy.
- New Force Feedback Algorithm, combining hardware and software for the most lifelike driving feel yet.
- Thermal-efficient industrial-grade motor ensures sustained peak torque output, even in endurance racing sessions.
- Customizable RGB lighting for real-time telemetry feedback, including ABS, gear shifts, and flag signals.
- CNC-machined aluminum housing for exceptional rigidity and durability.
A release date is not yet known, but it can be assumed that the bases will be available to order shortly. The following prices have been announced (taxes and shipping costs are not included):
- R21 Ultra DD Wheel Base: $699.00 / 799.00€ / £699.00 / AUD 1,299.00 / JPY 119,900.00
- R25 Ultra True Torque DD Wheel Base: $899.00 / 999.00€ / £899.00 / AUD 1,649.00 / JPY 149,900.00

MOZA Porsche Sim Racing Steering Wheel
In addition to the two new wheel bases, there is another new product on show. MOZA is further expanding its partnership with Porsche with the Porsche Sim Racing Steering Wheel. The steering wheel of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS has been combined with familiar sim racing elements such as illuminated buttons and an almost three-inch screen.
- Race-ready design: Eco-friendly microfiber grip, seamless stitching, 2.99-inch high-definition display, and an expandable six-paddle layout for pro-level control.
- Customizable UI display: 2.99-inch HD customizable display, allowing racers to design and share personalized dashboards via MOZA Pit House.
- Carbon fiber-reinforced construction: Lightweight, durable, and optimized for responsive force feedback.
- Magnetic forged carbon paddle shifters with Hall sensors: Dual-clutch or programmable functionality, with optional upgrade to six paddles.
- Extensive input control: 12 RGB buttons, 4 rotary encoders, 2 seven-way funky switches, 4 thumbwheels, 2 rear buttons—all fully customizable.
- All-aluminum quick release for secure, fast swaps.
- Third-party compatibility via MOZA’s universal hub kit for wider ecosystem integration.
- Extreme durability: Every component stress-tested for endurance; buttons, paddles, and encoders engineered to last hundreds of thousands of operations.

Two new partnerships: Mercedes-Benz and MotoGP
Somewhat surprisingly, MOZA announces two new partnerships in the field of motorsport. With Mercedes-Benz and MotoGP, the company will probably not only offer additional products in the automotive sector in future, but also beyond.
