Fanatec website relaunch – New design, logistics and prices
Fanatec has fundamentally revised its webshop and given it a new look. It now follows the design language of the parent company Corsair, which is clearly visible in the page structure as well as in the colour scheme and other design elements. At the same time, the backend has been updated and the processes in the background optimised.

New design and structure of the shop
The new design, which is now much more modern and clearly structured, is naturally eye-catching. The following hardware categories are now available, and the revised forum and support area are now much more prominent.
- Bundles
- Wheel Bases
- Steering Wheels
- Pedals
- Add-Ons
- Cockpits
- Accessoires
Here, the products can be sorted much more easily by category, for example by platform compatibility or price range. It is also possible to limit the displayed selection to currently available products. A factor that has often been relevant at Fanatec in the past.

Order history and passwords
As part of the changeover, customer data is also being transferred from the old system to the new backend. At the beginning, the transition is sometimes a little bumpy:
- The passwords of the customer accounts must be reassigned in the course of the migration. To do this, users must use the ‘Forgot your password?’ function and then reconfirm the General Terms and Conditions when assigning the new password.
- According to Fanatec, it is still taking some time for the order history to be fully imported. Not all users’ past orders are currently displayed in full or cannot yet be called up. However, the import should be completed shortly, whereby the orders are of course still covered by the previous guarantee.

QR2 as standard, adjusted prices, free shipping
Even before the relaunch of the shop, some adjustments were made from February onwards. These include the now further advanced switch to the new QR2 as standard. The outdated predecessor QR1 can now only be ordered as an optional accessory and no longer directly with the steering wheels. In addition, some prices were already moderately adjusted in February (example: Fanatec CSL Elite Steering Wheel McLaren GT3 V2 199.95 -> 219.95), whereby individual products such as the ClubSport Pedals V3 Brake Performance Kit were significantly increased in price.
In return, Fanatec now offers free shipping in most regions.
