Trackmania – Winter 2025 Author Times / Author Medals

The new Trackmania winter campaign starts at 5pm on 1 January. As always, the highlight will of course be the 25 new tracks and the associated new author medals to be discovered from then on. Also new this time is the Weekly Shorts game mode with the additional Top Secret feature.

Author Times / Author Medals

As in every campaign, Trackmania players can earn a total of 25 author medals if they manage to beat the respective author times on each track. The tracks are roughly sorted in ascending order of difficulty and length, with the red and black tracks typically being the most challenging.

The categories are divided into the following colours:

  • White
  • green
  • Blue
  • Red
  • Black

Weekly Shorts – Game Mode

Every Sunday at 18:00 CET, five new tracks will be released on which players can compete for medals and climb both the track and weekly rankings to win trophies at the end of the week.

This mode is available to all players with free Starter Access. Club Access players will have access to all Weekly Shorts from the beginning, while Starter Access players will only have access to the current Weekly Shorts campaign.

In addition to the seasonal campaign, the new Weekly Shorts mode will offer more solo competition content in future.

The new ‘Top Secret’ feature will be introduced. The best times and ghosts will remain hidden during the weekly shorts hunt. This system is designed to encourage exploration and strategy as players can discover rare techniques to achieve top rankings. Every Sunday at 18:00 CET, the leaderboard will be locked and the best times and ghosts will be revealed.
