VRS DFP15 Wheel Base, R295 Steering Wheel & Upgradable Torque Wheel Base revealed
Im Rahmen der diesjährigen Black-Friday-Angebote bietet VRS nicht nur Rabatte, sondern stellt auch sein neues 295 Millimeter Lenkrad sowie eine neue Wheel Base mit 15 Newtonmeter vor, die ab sofort vorbestellt werden können.
VRS DFP15 Wheel Base & R295 Steering Wheel
The new 295 millimetre Formula-style steering wheel and a new wheel base with 15 Newton metres of torque were presented for the first time as part of the Black Friday offers from VRS. The new QR solution in NRG design, which now supplies data and power without additional cables, immediately catches the eye. The steering wheel with illuminated buttons and dual clutch is available both individually and in a bundle with the new base. However, the latter is currently only available in combination with the new steering wheel. According to VRS, pre-orders will be dispatched ‘after Christmas and New Year’.

Upgradable Torque Wheel Base
Also a new addition to the product range is the well-known VRS DirectForce Pro Wheel Base with a new, not uncontroversial concept. Customers can order the base in different strengths and pay more or less accordingly. Upgrades will then be possible at a later date for a one-off surcharge. It remains to be seen whether and how this type of sales tactic (remember the release of the CSL-DD from Fanatec with an extra charge for the Boost Kit) will be received by customers, but it offers interesting opportunities for sim racers who are not 100% sure what performance they need at the time of purchase.
