Pimax (VR) Sim Lap Challenge
VR headset manufacturer Pimax will be focusing on sim racing from September and organising a whole series of events for the community – users will have the opportunity to win prizes, present their setups and exchange ideas with the community.
Rig Contest
The first part of the event is the Rig Contest. Here, users from the community have the opportunity to present their rig or desktop setup and win prizes.

- Show Off Your Rig: Share a photo or video of your sim racing setup on social media. We’d love to see the Pimax Crystal Light in action, but it’s totally up to you! Just don’t forget to use the hashtag #PimaxRacingRig.
- Join the Discord: Jump into the Pimax Crystal Light Discord server and post your entry in the show-off-your-rig channel. Chat with other racers and check out their amazing setups!
Each week, three winners will be chosen to win a €15 voucher for iRacing:
- 🏆Fanciest Rig
- 🏆Most Creative Setup
- 🏆Best Budget-Performance Rig
VR vs. Flat Screen Monitor Time Comparison Challenge
The second part of the challenge is about the experience of simracing in VR and the differences to conventional screens:
https://pimax.com/pages/iracing*
- Show us how racing with a VR headset compares to a flat screen monitor! Feel free to share your thoughts as a video or text—whatever works best for you.
- If you’re submitting a video, share it on your YouTube channel. If you’re going with text, post it on r/iRacing.
- Don’t forget to share the link to your entry in our Pimax Crystal Light Discord ‘show-off-your-rig’ channel so the community can check it out and help vote for the best!
Here 5 people can win DMAS Earphones from Pimax.
