Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team Sim Racing Steering Wheel (2024) from Simlab now available
With the officially licensed Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team Sim Racing Steering Wheel (2024), an extremely interesting steering wheel is available on the sim racing market as of today, which was created in collaboration between the sim racing manufacturer Simlab (primarily known for its sim rigs) and the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team. The steering wheel is now available for pre-order at a price of around €2,655.
Features
Simlab has realised the steering wheel as true to the original as possible and has, for example, been able to use CAD data and has adopted some of the original manufacturing processes. Highlights are undoubtedly the handmade carbon housing, the 4.3-inch display with Simhub compatibility and the high-quality rotaries from the manufacturer Grayhill.

Thanks to the carbon housing and the relatively small diameter of 280 millimetres, the steering wheel has an extremely low total weight of only around 1240 grams. In combination with the rubber grips, Simlab promises outstanding ergonomics:

Price and pre-order
The steering wheel can now be pre-ordered directly from Simlab at a price of around €2,654. According to the manufacturer, it will be dispatched in chronological order from the last week of August. There is currently no current status or waiting list on the website.
