Ascher Racing to start selling McLaren Artura Ultimate and Artura Pro USB versions
Ever since Ascher Racing announced the cooperation with McLaren and the associated simracing steering wheels with components from the real racing steering wheel at Simracing Expo 2022, the community has been waiting to finally be able to buy the high-end wheels from the German manufacturer. On 15 April, the time has finally come and the USB versions of the McLaren Artura Ultimate and Artura Pro will be officially released for sale from 10 a.m. (CET).
Prices and ordering
Both versions can be ordered directly from the Ascher Racing shop from tomorrow at the following prices:
- McLaren Artura Ultimate: 1499€
- McLaren Artura Pro: 1129€
The prices include the steering wheel, a USB spiral cable, an internal USB-C cable (e.g. for the optionally available Asetek QR from Ascher Racing), an active USB extension, assembly tools, interchangeable button caps and a sticker sheet. Reviews coming soon
Ascher Racing has provided a copy of both the Artura Ultimate and the Artura Pro for detailed testing. The review of the McLaren Artura Ultimate will be published at the same time as the launch, the review of the McLaren Artura Pro Steering Wheel will follow a week later.
Optional button kit
To the delight of all fans of customising their steering wheels, Ascher is offering a huge accessory package called KNOB KIT PRO at a price of 99 euros. This includes aluminium caps for the two rotary encoders, the four thumb encoders and the two 7-way joysticks in the colours gold, red, blue and black. The quantity was chosen so that the steering wheel can always be completely converted to one of the colours. In addition, any combination of the different colours is of course possible.

Artura Sport and GT4 announced for Q3 2024
While large parts of the McLaren line-up will finally be available from tomorrow, those interested in the McLaren Artura Sport and Artura GT4 will have to wait a little longer. These have been postponed to the third quarter of 2024, further news will be published soon by Ascher Racing.
