Fanatec CSL cockpit and accessories now available

Fanatec is once again expanding its existing product portfolio and is now offering the Fanatec CSL Cockpit and matching accessories, a semi-modular rig for the upper entry-level segment. For €399.95 (cockpit) or €499.95 (cockpit with seat), it is significantly cheaper than the previously available RennSport Cockpit V2, which currently sells for €999.95.

Fanatec CSL Cockpit

The new CSL Cockpit is a relatively compact rig made of aluminium (for the basic construction) and steel (for the brackets) in the colours grey and yellow. It is designed to be directly compatible with the Fanatec portfolio, but can also be used directly with many products from other manufacturers or with appropriate adapters due to the well-known Fanatec hole dimensions. According to Fanatec, most standard seats (such as the SPARCO Pro 2000 QRT) are supported.

The rig offers three different heights for mounting the base, a continuously adjustable tilt of 30 degrees and a distance to the driver that can be adjusted by 80 millimetres. A base with up to 25 Newton metres can be mounted.

Further accessories coming soon

In addition to the accessories already available for the release of the CSL cockpit, Fanatec is looking to add further accessories in the future: a keyboard holder and a holder for a PC or console are currently being planned. A free-standing monitor holder is also to be offered in the future. When these items will be available, however, is not yet known as of April 2024.
