In the third part of the picture series about the Simracing Expo 2023, we can once again look forward to exciting booths, new products and well-known simracing hardware.
The French manufacturer P1 Sim attended again this year after 2022 and presented its two steering wheels P1 Arnage and P1 Eau Rouge Plus. In addition, the soon to be released P1 Mistral pedals with integrated haptic motors were shown for the first time. Visitors were able to test the hardware in detail in several rigs.
After their appearance at Gamescom 2023, PXN was also present at the Simracing-Expo and showed its Direct Drive Base (V12 Lite), which is already available, as well as some upcoming products such as a prototype Formula steering wheel.
The Italian manufacturer Sabelt, previously known mainly for its seat belts, presented its current portfolio of high-quality aluminium rigs at the fair. In addition, a steering wheel rim developed by Sabelt in combination with the button plate from Ascher Racing was on display, among other things.
Simrep showed a mixture of DIY hardware and their own products this year. These included their own P9XX steering wheel, a dashboard and the Cosworth CCW MK2 steering wheel, which was developed in direct cooperation with Cosworth.
VRS + RENNSPORT
The VRS stand was equipped with familiar hardware and sim racers could try out both VRS hardware (pedals, wheelbase and steering wheel) and the RENNSPORT simulation, which is currently still in closed beta.
