GRID MPX Sim Racing Steering Wheel launched
GRID Engineering has just unveiled its second steering wheel, the MPX. After the licensed high-end replica of the Porsche 911 RSR Sim Racing Steering Wheel, they are now working on a 295-millimetre steering wheel in Formula style. Among other things, this is equipped with 87 programmable LEDs, 9 encoders, 8 Apem buttons and 2 7-way switches.
RGB
The steering wheel’s 87 RGB LEDs are immediately recognizable. These are distributed across the five encoders (11 each) and the eight buttons (4 each) on the front and can be individually configured via Simhub. This allows for versatile profiles and it will be interesting to see what ideas the GRID by Simlab community will come up with.
High quality components
GRID uses high-quality components for its new steering wheel. Encoders from ELMA, APEM buttons and two P9 buttons on the back promise high quality and complement the package of PU grips, an aluminium housing and a carbon front plate.
In addition, there is a 6-pin Lumberg connector as well as a double clutch and magnetic shift paddles.
