Fanatec Podium Button Module Rally – Info page published
Fanatec has just released the landing page for the new Podium Button Module Rally (link to page*). The rally steering wheel was developed by Fanatec in cooperation with the M-Sport World Rally Team and is accordingly the first full-fledged rally wheel in the manufacturer’s range.
Compatible with most rims
Fanatec promises that the Button Plate will be compatible with most Fanatec Rims with a 6x70mm hole pattern using the included aluminum adapter ring. The official Sparco steering wheel to go with the Button Plate will be available separately from Fanatec. .
In addition to the rim of choice, you will then need a Podium Hub, ClubSport Universal Hub for Xbox, or ClubSport Universal Hub V2 / V2 for Xbox, which connect to the DataPort-C connector.
Light weight, high quality materials
With a weight of the button plate of 300g including adapter made of aluminum, the new product is a real lightweight, this is made possible by a manufacturing of the front plate made of carbon.

Features
The compact module has the following features:
- Nine buttons with programmable RGB backlighting.
- Two D-pads for quick access to multiple functions
- Three illuminated 12-way multi-position switches,
- A 1″-OLED display.
The backlight colors will be adjustable via Fanalab software, and the OLED screen will be able to display telemetry data as usual.
Release and price
It is not yet known when the product designed for use in the 2022 Ford Puma Hybrid Rally1 WRC Car will be available, nor is there any information about the final price.
