Mit dem offiziell lizenzierten Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team Sim Racing Steering Wheel (2024) ist seit heute ein äußerst interessantes Lenkrad auf dem Simracing-Markt erhältlich, das in Zusammenarbeit zwischen dem Simracing-Hersteller Simlab (vor allem bekannt für seine Sim-Rigs) und dem Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team entstanden ist. Das Lenkrad kann ab sofort zu einem Preis von ca. 2.655€ vorbestellt werden.
Zwischen dem 11. und 14. Januar fand auch dieses Jahr wieder die Sim Formula Europe in Maastricht statt. Rund 20 Aussteller präsentierten auf 3.000 Quadratmetern Neuheiten, innovative Simracing-Hardware und vieles mehr.
Simlab hat sein neues GT1 Pro Sim Racing Cockpit vorgestellt. Das Unternehmen verspricht ein nahezu flexfreies Rig für den Einsatz mit Direct Drive Wheelbases. Im Gegensatz zum indirekten Vorgänger setzt Simlab hier auf vorgebohrte Löcher in den Aluminiumprofilen. Dies sorgt für einen deutlich schnelleren Aufbau, kostet aber auch etwas Flexibilität bei den möglichen Montagepunkten. Mit einem Preis von 599€ ohne Sitz und Monitorhalterung liegt es etwas über den günstigsten Aluminium-Rigs, wird aber bereits mit einigem Zubehör ausgeliefert.
Simlab ist aktuell wohl einer der größten Anbieter von Sim-Rigs. Nach der erst kürzlich vorgestellten Handbremse, hat der Hersteller aus den Niederlanden nun mit dem Pedal Set XP1 Loadcell das nächste Produkt vorgestellt. Das Set ist ab sofort ab einem Preis von 490,76€ vorbestellbar.

Die Produkte sind jeweils ab sofort vorbestellbar. Der Versand soll laut SImlab Ende Juli beginnen.
Nach der erst kürzlich von uns getesteten Handbremse HBP von MOZA steigt nun auch Simlab in den Handbremsenmarkt ein und präsentiert mit der XB1-LOADCELL eine Handbremse für 200€. Vorbesteller können hier noch etwas sparen und sind für eine begrenzte Zeit mit 169€ dabei.
Die Handbremse ist mit einer 150 kg Loadcell ausgestattet und kann ohne Softwareinstallation direkt am PC betrieben werden. Laut Simlab ist sie mit allen gängigen Simracing-Titeln kompatibel, die analoge Handbremsen unterstützen. Um Feineinstellungen vornehmen zu können, wird es möglich sein, die Handbremse über die optionale Software von Simlab zu kalibrieren. Außerdem sind sowohl die Vorspannung als auch die Härte des Dämpfers selbst einstellbar.

This feature allows a more realistic feeling of the handbrake typically found in Rally and Drift cars. The initial travel of the brake lever is simulating pressurizing the brake system as in a real race-car brake system. Of course, it’s possible to remove this feature and have the brake-stack equipped with a single elastomer resulting in direct application.
