Fanatec Bentley Continental GT3 Pikes Peak Lenkrad vorgestellt
Fanatec hat soeben völlig überraschend ein neues Lenkrad vorgestellt: Das Fanatec Bentley Continental GT3 Pikes Peak steering wheel. Es wurde in Zusammenarbeit mit Bentley Motors Limited entwickelt für die Verwendung im realen Continental GT3 Pikes Peak race car. Es ist das erste Lenkrad von Fanatec, welches ein Display enthalten wird, ein Releasetermin ist noch nicht bekannt.
A real racing accessory.
The Podium Steering Wheel Bentley GT3 was developed simultaneously for both the real Pikes Peak race car and for sim racing, in collaboration with Bentley and their Motorsport team. The quick release (QR2) meets FIA standards, allowing it to connect to the real car and compatible FANATEC® wheel bases.

Die mitgelieferte Halterung kann verwendet werden, um das Rad entweder an der Wand oder auf dem Schreibtisch zu präsentieren. Das über einen USB-Anschluss betriebene Lenkrad kann als Uhr angezeigt werden, die dem traditionellen Zeitmesser des Bentley Continental GT nachempfunden ist. Es kann auch vorgeladene Renntelemetrie von berühmten Runden wiedergeben und zeigt Pedal- und Lenkeingaben, Gangwechsel, G-Meter und eine Streckenkarte an.
Telemetrie und Schaltpaddles
Das Lenkrad greift auf das Advanced Paddle Module von Fanatec zurück und ergänzt dieses um Paddles im Design des Continental GT. Neben den zwei Schaltpaddles gibt es zwei weitere Paddles für zusätzliche Funktionen und zwei analoge Kupplungspedale, die auf Hallsensoren zurückgreifen.
Das mit 800 x 800 Pixeln sehr hochauflösende Display ist das erste dieser Art in einem Lenkrad von Fanatec.
